As the world of Information Technology (IT) engineering becomes more complex every day, formal study project complexity and important for managing projects effectively, to avoid poor performance failure. Complexity is not yet clearly understood nor sufficiently defined terminology itself being overloaded over-used. This paper a systematic literature review that attempts identify classify proposed definitions measures IT complexity. The results include map identified approaches definitions, list classifications complexity, set measurement tools available practitioners. contributes establishing common language when discussing as well better understanding its implications practical projects.
